Was trying to film my first video today on my makeup routine. First the batterys died, then i replaced them started filming again then the card got full. So i will attempt filming another day, today just wasn't my day.

Revlon Colorstay Founation Review

So first off  I usually only spend $10 or less on foundation and this was a little bit more, I got it for $15.99 But i believe that was az sale. I really wanted to try out this foundation because I've heard great reviews and lots of people on youtube and on blogs talk about how much they love it.

So I got the Revlon colorstay for Combination/Oily skin and I got the colour 200 Nude. I Was a bit worried that it may be too dark but I think it matches great. I have used this foundation for the past 3 days and I really do love it. It covers all my acne and redness and makes me actually feel more confident with the look of my skin. It claims to last up to 24 hrs, I think it lasts maybe about 8-12 for me. The only downside of this foundation for me is how quick it dries, I use a brush (Elf studio powder brush) And as long as you only pick up a litttle product at a time, work in small sections and work fast it blends great and looks really natural.

Glymm Box/Bag August 2012

So I just received my August Glymm Box and here is what i got!

 So first you can see the makeup bag if different from the last couple of months its got texture and is plastic ( i believe). The first item is a mineral clay mask from vitamine and sea. Then the Mai Couture Blush paper in Prettyful, There is 2 sheets. Next is the NuMe hydro punch hydrating conditioner, this is a 20ml sample.

The first thing in this picture is a product by Benta berry. I think its a hydrating moisture creme (i may be wrong, its all in french) and its a 3ml sample. Then I got a little lip gloss by Naked Princess in the colour  Barely blush, Its a 0.008oz sample. Lastly is the vial of perfume its by Ateliea Cologne in the scent Vanille Insensee and  I believe its for men and woman.

My Nails!

I did my nails and i really like this look. I used my julep nail polishes, the silver is Harley and the lilac is Renee.

My Current Everyday Makeup

This is my everyday makeup for right now. I don't use high end makeup just drugstore brands. I hope you enjoy! :)

 Lets start with foundation, Currently I use 2 foundations and they are Rimmel London clean finish matte foundation in 120 ivory and  Maybelline Fit me foundation in 115. I use more of the clean finish and mix a bit of the fit me into it. I do this mostly so that the colour matches me but also because the Rimmel london clean finish matte foundation tends to start to dry before its all blended  even though i do use a brush to apply it. But i find when i mix the 2 the consistency is a lot better and i can blend it out without trouble.

Moving onto powder, I use Maybelline dream matte powder in light 4-5. I use this to just set my foundation, its really light and i really like it. The next thing i do is my eyes. I'm not really picky with eyeliners as long as its black and stays on well, But my most used eyeliner right now is Essence long lasting eye pencil in 01 Black fever. It goes on nice and stays on for a good amount of time also its really cheap ($2.50). Then I usually do a quick coat of mascara (some days I skip it) but i really like the Essence I love extreme volume mascara, Its got a really big brush and gives your eyelashes lots of volume. Also pictured is Maybelline great lash mascara, which is always a great one and you can't really go wrong with it. Lastly I usually just finish off with a colourful lip gloss sometimes a lipstick. But for lip glosses I really like the Essence XXXL shine lipgloss, I think the colour is Fabulous Fuchsia, but im not positive because the name wore off.
