September glossy box!

I was super excited for the september glossy box and i wasn't disappointed! This is what i got:

1. B.Kamins lip balm spf 20. I really liked this lip balm it was very moisturizing.

2. B.Kamins maple body lotion. I haven't tried this yet.

3. Dove cleartone deodorant. This was a bonus and have already received a sample of this in the mail and really enjoyed it :)

4. Wella professionals mirror polish shine serum. I really really liked this. It made my hair super soft and not frizzy. It was my second favourite item this month.

Then finally the star of the box

5.The NYX cosmetics crimson amulet collection limited edition. When i seen this i nearly squealed with excitement.  I love it. It comes with so many amazing eye shadows, 5 blushes, a highlight and a liquid eyeliner and eyeshadow base!

This is definetly my favourite glossybox so far they seem to be getting better :)

September Glymm Bag

Hey Everyone this is what i got in my september glymm bag:

we got a cream makeup bag this month and inside was 2 La Fresh waterproof makeup remover wipes, a small sample of super moisturizing face cream for girls from benta berry , a Dulces en fuego body cream (which smells soo good!)  and lastly the Evolvh shampoo and conditioner.

I wasn't overly excited about this bag, but it wasn't terrible.

Mini Review: Balea Face Masks

Last week I went to Shoppers and picked up a couple Balea Facemasks to try out because I haven't tried them before. So i used one the night I bought it And it went on feeling really nice and it was ok it had kind of a tingling sensation. So i left it on for about 10 minutes then i took it off and my face was a little pink and splotchy, but it did shrink my pores.

 Then Just the other night i decided to try the other one i bought. (I'm Sorry i don't remember the kinds.) So i put it on and it felt nice and cooling then about a minute later it started really burning like seriously burning. I thought that might subside so i left it on for another few minutes but it just didn't get any better. So i didnt even leave it on for 5 minutes but i had to take it off, When i took it off my face looked like I had a sunburn! It didn't burn anymore but  it stayed red for a few hours. But I did notice it shrunk my pores! So I don't know if thats how its supposed to feel or if i was allergic to something in it.

So I really don't think ill be trying out the masks again. So If anyone has any suggestions on good inexpensive face masks let me know! And if this happened to anyone else also let me know!

Was trying to film my first video today on my makeup routine. First the batterys died, then i replaced them started filming again then the card got full. So i will attempt filming another day, today just wasn't my day.

Revlon Colorstay Founation Review

So first off  I usually only spend $10 or less on foundation and this was a little bit more, I got it for $15.99 But i believe that was az sale. I really wanted to try out this foundation because I've heard great reviews and lots of people on youtube and on blogs talk about how much they love it.

So I got the Revlon colorstay for Combination/Oily skin and I got the colour 200 Nude. I Was a bit worried that it may be too dark but I think it matches great. I have used this foundation for the past 3 days and I really do love it. It covers all my acne and redness and makes me actually feel more confident with the look of my skin. It claims to last up to 24 hrs, I think it lasts maybe about 8-12 for me. The only downside of this foundation for me is how quick it dries, I use a brush (Elf studio powder brush) And as long as you only pick up a litttle product at a time, work in small sections and work fast it blends great and looks really natural.

                                               

If you can see in the picture above you can see that it hid a lot of my acne, redness and also helped with my under eye circles. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Glymm Box/Bag August 2012

So I just received my August Glymm Box and here is what i got!

 So first you can see the makeup bag if different from the last couple of months its got texture and is plastic ( i believe). The first item is a mineral clay mask from vitamine and sea. Then the Mai Couture Blush paper in Prettyful, There is 2 sheets. Next is the NuMe hydro punch hydrating conditioner, this is a 20ml sample.

The first thing in this picture is a product by Benta berry. I think its a hydrating moisture creme (i may be wrong, its all in french) and its a 3ml sample. Then I got a little lip gloss by Naked Princess in the colour  Barely blush, Its a 0.008oz sample. Lastly is the vial of perfume its by Ateliea Cologne in the scent Vanille Insensee and  I believe its for men and woman.

What are some of your favourite makeup products?

My Current Everyday Makeup

This is my everyday makeup for right now. I don't use high end makeup just drugstore brands. I hope you enjoy! :)

 Lets start with foundation, Currently I use 2 foundations and they are Rimmel London clean finish matte foundation in 120 ivory and  Maybelline Fit me foundation in 115. I use more of the clean finish and mix a bit of the fit me into it. I do this mostly so that the colour matches me but also because the Rimmel london clean finish matte foundation tends to start to dry before its all blended  even though i do use a brush to apply it. But i find when i mix the 2 the consistency is a lot better and i can blend it out without trouble.

Sorry the items in the picture aren't in order of use.

Moving onto powder, I use Maybelline dream matte powder in light 4-5. I use this to just set my foundation, its really light and i really like it. The next thing i do is my eyes. I'm not really picky with eyeliners as long as its black and stays on well, But my most used eyeliner right now is Essence long lasting eye pencil in 01 Black fever. It goes on nice and stays on for a good amount of time also its really cheap ($2.50). Then I usually do a quick coat of mascara (some days I skip it) but i really like the Essence I love extreme volume mascara, Its got a really big brush and gives your eyelashes lots of volume. Also pictured is Maybelline great lash mascara, which is always a great one and you can't really go wrong with it. Lastly I usually just finish off with a colourful lip gloss sometimes a lipstick. But for lip glosses I really like the Essence XXXL shine lipgloss, I think the colour is Fabulous Fuchsia, but im not positive because the name wore off.

Anyways well I hope you liked my Current everyday makeup, I plan on doing a Essence review sometime in the near future and I hope you all have a great day!

July GlossyBox Canada 2012

I got my glossy box last week so this is a little late but this is what i got in my july glossybox!
Also i was V3.

 1.The First thing i got was a Zoya nail polish in Meg and its full size. I was really excited to get a nail polish but i'm not too fond of the colour. I may use it but i might just give it to my sister. This retails for $8.00.

 2. The next thing in my box was this Alessandro International Pedix heel rescue balm. I have tried this a few times and i do like it. It makes your feet softer and i also really enjoy the smell of it. This is a sample size but for 100ml its $19.95.

 

 3. I am really excited to try this! Its the John Frieda frizz-ease xtra strength serum. I haven't tried it yet but it says it instantly and dramatically transforms coarse, wiry, unruly frizz for ultra sleek, purely polished, super shiny results. So if i do really like this product i may do a separate review on it. And this is a full size product and it retails for $14.99

 4. I was actually really disappointed when i seen i got this tiny 5ml sample while other people got burt's bees lip balms. Anyways this is Eucerin calming creme it says its a daily moisturizer. I mean your not going to be able to really know how you like the product when you only get 5ml. For 200g of this its $12.00

 5. The next thing was this Dove softening creme body wash. I also haven't tried this yet because i'm currently using a different body wash. But it says get visibly more beautiful sin in just one week. This is full size and is $5.99

6. The last thing was 4 BeautySoClean sanitizer wipes. I haven't tested these out yet but on the card it says : These convenient cosmetic sanitizer wipes are effective for sanitizing makeup that accumulates visible debris like dust, lint and food particles. I have heard about this company before and heard good things so i'm interested in trying these. For a 48 pack of wipes its $12.50

So over all i'm pretty satisfied with this months glossy box. I do wish i would have gotten the burt's bees lip balm instead of the tiny Eurcerin sample but other then that it was good.
